Tuesday Trends: NYE, Roses and WFE

I hope y’all had a wonderful Saturday evening, celebrating NYE.  We hung out with friends, ate and drank (thankfully not toooo much), and played games.  Bedtime was 1:30am, but we were feeling great the next morning.  Cheers to us!

The Bachelor aired its new season last night.  Are you in it for the long haul with Ben?  So far, there are the token crazies and sweet girls.  Should be an interesting season.  One thing’s for sure…some of the girls he gave roses to are seriously insane?!  Do you think it’s in their contract that they HAVE to pick ones in the beginning, that will give the show better ratings (aka DRAMA QUEENS).  Honestly, what guy is drawn to that?

I finished reading Water for Elephants last night.  If you haven’t read it yet, you should!  No spoilers here, but it’s a quick read and very well-written!  Just passed it on to the hubs, and as soon as he finishes his book, he’s going to read it.  He’s in the middle of Bill O’Reilly’s Killing Lincoln, and is enjoying it.  Although, I just found out it has a plethora of historical errors, but I think I’m going to hold off on telling him until he’s finished reading it.  Back to WFE, I cannot wait to watch the movie and compare it to the book…but the hubs has to finish it first…hopefully soon.

  9. Love that cocktail ring–it's perfect with your pretty Elsa! It looks like you had a wonderful NYE. I also loved WFE and I was just saying I think that the Bachelor/Bachelorette probably only gets to pick a percentage of those who move on. . .
