So I googled the phrase, “Nobody does it like Sara Lee” and the phrase is actually, “Nobody doesn’t like Sara Lee.” Yes, a double negative. Who knew?!
So look what came in the mail, bright and early this morning…
My first inaugural Rachel Leigh Audrey Enamel Bow bracelet in Surf Blue. LOVE! This will definitely be on my arm Easter Sunday.
If you don’t see your favorite color on her site, I spoke with them yesterday, and they are replenishing their stock in the next couple weeks. Call them if you’re interested in a color you don’t see (646.290.6034), and as always, they provide free shipping. They’ll get your name and email address, and email you when your color is back in stock. White is next on my list, then flamingo, then…
I have got to finish The Sun Also Rises, by Ernest Hemingway. After recently reading Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights, I thought another classic would be perfect, but The Sun Also Rises has killed my reading vibe. The hubs recommended it because he liked it and thought I would to, but I think guys like it because it is so blunt and matter-of-fact. I like descriptive writing, and this book doesn’t have it at all. I have enjoyed reading Hemingway, but I prefer The Old Man and the Sea, a much shorter read. After talking it over with friends yesterday, I’ve decided that next on my list is Water for Elephants. The only gripe I have is that I like to make my own mental pictures of the characters when I read, and now I’ll only picture Reese and Rob as the main characters, but I guess that’s not so bad. Haha.
I’m headed out for a girl’s night next week, and we’re going to see Something Borrowed. Finally, some good movies are coming out! It’s about time. Now, I’m just waiting for the American version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to hurry up and make its way into theaters. I know it’s in the works.
