My best friend, Beth, makes a delicious Summer Beer that you HAVE to try, even if it IS fall now…because for many of us, the weather isn’t quite autumn-like yet. Driving home from preschool this afternoon, it was 88 degrees!! So enjoy this refreshing drink, and dream of a tropical place somewhere – the best place to enjoy it….even if you’re just sitting on your back porch!
Summer Beer
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 can vodka (use lemonade can)
1 can water
1 or 2 beers (any light beer would do) – to give it a little fizz!!
Mix in a pitcher and serve!

Yesterday’s location was Paramount’s Carowinds. What a fun place! It’s a little toned down than other theme parks, but don’t get me wrong, it’s still huge! Then again, I haven’t been in over ten years, so who knows how much bigger it’s grown since then.

I haven't ever heard of that summer beer recipe. I'll have to try it. We usually make beer margaritas with frozen limeade, tequila and beer.
I LOVE summer beer! I'm not particularly fond of regular beer and so this makes it very enjoyable! Perfect to end the last days of warmth with!
Ok, we must be having the same thoughts today. I have been craving some lemonade. These little extras would be heaven right now. Is it 5:00 yet?!?
I saw on FB Re-Lilly that you mentioned the Anchors Away skirt…which got me thinking about how I had wanted something in that print…so I had to give in and get it. Morgan really is such a sweetheart and so helpful. She and I attended the University of Arkansas together, and she is very good at what she does. If you ever need certain Lilly pieces she is a huge help and will call around to other stores.
Now, back to making that drink…in a few hours 😉

I will definitely be trying this little cocktail! I bet it isn't as heavy on the stomach as regular beer. I also know of a drink called a "Smir-beer" mix half Smirnoff Ice with half of a beer… it's so good! Seriously! p.s. I tagged you 🙂
