Hope all of you had a wonderful Cinco de Mayo yesterday! And hopefully no one is still suffering this morning. Haha. So…I know I’m a little late because I know this would have been helpful yesterday, but how many of you have heard that margaritas may be so tasty, but can pack on the extra pounds, fast? Because the margarita is filled with sugar and other yummy ingredients, it sure contains a lot of calories. Well, let me introduce you to the Skinny Margarita. I had heard of it before, but came across it again on MMM Times the Charm’s blog, and decided to use the recipe this week. It’s a pretty simple recipe. I’ve never had one before though, so if you try it before me, let me know how yummy it actually is.
Skinny Girl Margarita
– 2 ounces of white/clear Tequila
– Fresh lime juice
– Splash of Cointreau, Triple Sec or Grand Mariner
– add Splenda if desired
Salt rim glass, pour in all ingredients, stir and ENJOY!
