Thirsty Thursday: Pink Grapefruit Gin + What I’m Wearing

If you’re looking for a fun dress for the holiday weekend, love this one!  For fit, it’s true to size.  I’m wearing a size small.  Paired it with these wedges and sunnies.

Honestly, I was attracted to this bottle even before I knew what was inside.  I love a tasty gin, so I was excited that this was a pink grapefruit-infused gin.  And let me tell you, it’s delicious!  Malfy comes in all sorts of tasty gin flavors.  I’m thinking of trying out the Blood Orange next!  Mix it with even the simplest tonic and you’ll love it!  I like adding mine to La Croix Limoncello and it’s so good!

Last week, the weather was rainy and dull most days, so we didn’t get as much beach time as we’re used to.  So this week, we took full advantage.  I think we’ve been almost everyday and the weather has been amazing!

Wore this UPF 50+ Coverup.  Take 20% off with code: SWEETSOUTHERNPREP20.  Feels like a swimsuit, fits like a coverup.  Wearing a size small. // Hat (a few years old, similar one here) // Sunnies

Building their village before the tide comes in.

I’ve had this tiny little speaker for awhile now and just love it for traveling.  It’s selling out quickly, but I found similar ones here and here. // Earrings // Sunnies

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about my print in my room.  I’ve had it in here a few years now and it never gets old.  Although Vaughn did ask me last week how that lady can hold her breath that long. // Topiaries // Rewined Rosé Candle // Wicker Tray

Still loving this great little toss on dress.  Super comfy!  Paired it with these sandals.

Same great style top, new stripes.  For fit, go up at least one size.

Speaking of Lulu, they just dropped a new prism pink color in lots of my favorite styles.  I ordered them to see what the color looks like in person.  I’ll report back soon.  But if it’s anything like the color it appears to be online, I’m going to love it!

Speed Up Short

Hotty Hot Short

Free to Be Serene Bra (love the straps on the back of this one)

Love Tank in Serene Blue (on sale!!)

Love Tank (in stripes – this is the one I’m wearing in the photo above)

Love Tank in Black

I absolutely LOVE my Lulu socks!  This yellow is so fun…

…as is this orange pair.

So I got these cloud gel patches (the light blue ones) and fell in love.  They’re even better when you toss them in the fridge!  Each gel patch does a little something different.  The light blue offers lots of moisture to the eye area, the cucumber patches help depuff and reduce dark circles and the gold helps to firm the area.  I love using the gold ones right before an evening out.

Another hit this summer at our house has been all the headbands!  The girls and I both love to wear them and it’s so nice that we can share!  Lilly has the cutest prints (we have them all!) and you can get the ones on the right here.

Posted this the other day and I had a lot of y’all ask about this top.  I’ve had this one a few years now, but love the style.  It’s still available here.  Wearing a size medium. // Sunnies

Wheeler got her guitar a few days ago for her birthday and she’s been serenading us!  She’s had the ukulele a few years now and loves writing songs.  Can’t believe how quickly she’s picked up the guitar!  So thankful she’s into music as much as I am.

I’ve finally organized all of my photos from the past few months and will share them tomorrow and throughout next week to catch y’all up on what we’ve been up to.  Honestly, with the quarantine, our days have been spent either on the boat, pool or beach.  Very very thankful for that!  So be ready for lots of swimsuits and coverups to shop!

Cheers to your Thursday, Y’all!

  1. So much inspo! It is online lunchtime as a read but humid hot and the gin looks so appealing. Although I would imagine it tastes better quaffed in SC or Siciliy rather than in my English garden. The gin craze has been huge here for a long while, dominating wine sales – is it as big in the States? Every flavour imaginable. Love the clothes you feature – makes me want to be braver in colour choices. I have the same colouring as you (although not as tanned – I need your tanning tips PRONTO!) so it is good to get your recs – we get Lululemon here and I haven’t tried before (in fact have been very late to the athleisure train – lockdown changes all of that ;). Would you say it is the best quality and fit brand? (say vs fabletics).

  2. Oh good Lord I didn’t realised my spell correct had done that to my comment – it should read ‘only lunchtime as I write’ – ooops!!
