Thirsty Thursday: Fruit Punch Champagne

This may seem like a simple concoction, more than my normal fun drinks I normally choose on Thursdays, but boy are these yummy, and so easy to make!  This past weekend I visited my sister.  My daughters and one of our sisters were in tow.  We had the best time visiting with her husband and her son too!  One perk of the weekend was visiting sugar boutique.

I found La Dolce Vita randomly, blogging around, and came to realize she lived in my sister’s very small town she lives in now.  Small world?  Definitely.  So after lots of chatting, and great deals on Lilly, delivered to my door, I thought it was a perfect time to shop at her cute store.  Well, perfect timing!  It happened to be sugar’s 2 year anniversary, and boy, did they have amazing deals?  Read more about it here.  I’m talking, buy one, get one free Lilly polos, extra 10% off already marked down prices, free t-shirts, Lilly totes or tumblers with a Lilly purchase, and more.  I left with lots of lovely loot, but the best deal?  Probably the great Lilly dress, regular price $158.00, for $35.  Not bad at all!  And the lovely necklace, they had to remind me that the earrings came with it.  So great!

Well, anyway, on to the drink…  At sugar, they served the shoppers desserts and pink champagne.  So yummy!  It’s such a simple cocktail, but oh so yummy!  Even one of my sisters who was shopping as well, whom rarely drinks (I mean RARELY, didn’t even drink real champagne at her wedding toast) she even loved it, even asked the owner for the exact recipe.  🙂  Got to love that!

Alright, here it is:

Isn’t it such a delightfully, simple bottle?
Re-useable for a vase maybe?

1 part Verdi Champagne (sweeter than most champagnes)
1 part Fruit Punch

Yep, that’s it!  Go out and try it soon.

And what I’d be wearing while drinking it?  Hmmm….

Love these!  Great for all seasons!
Not as summery for April in the South, but it was abnormally cooler today in NC.

Nine West ‘Getby’ in Gold

Lydell NYC Crystal Flower Drop Earrings

Had to include the pink floral earrings!
Matches the pink champagne, and goes with the floral trend of the season.

CHEERS, Y’all!

  1. Sounds like you did fabulous at the shop! Thanks for your comment and you will LOVE that white Lilly polo. I have like 4 of them! I would say the most common thing I wear them with are printed shorts!

  2. Yum!!! That sounds delicious! I love mixing things with champagne! I like mixing cranberry juice with it during the holidays. I never thought to add fruit punch but I'm going to try it now for sure! Not RIGHT now of course…I'm at work. It would help though. Hahaha. 🙂
