Thirsty Thursday: The Easter Egg Cocktail

For a festive spin on Thirsty Thursday this week, I found a yummy Easter Egg Cocktail recipe, from about.com.  According to the site, “The mix of blue and white liqueurs produces a pale blue base for the Easter Egg Cocktail. Top it off by floating half-and-half over the liqueurs in a short glass and you’ve got yourself a liquid Easter egg that is better than those you may hunt.”

Ingredients

  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • 1 oz white crème de cacao
  • half-and-half

Preparation

  1. Pour the blue curaçao and crème de cacao over ice cubes in an old fashioned glass.
  2. Float the half-and-half on top to taste.
  3. Sip and enjoy!

Wouldn’t this Rachel Leigh Audrey Enamel Bow Bracelet be a great addition, while sipping your Easter Egg cocktail…or to your Easter Egg basket?
Maybe one in every color?
I mean if Easter eggs can be multi-colored, my arm can be too, right?

If you’re a big fan of Jack Rogers, like I am, they’re on Rue La La tomorrow, starting at 11am.  Although, the last couple of times Jack Rogers has been featured on Rue La La, they have not carried this style below.  They normally sell their clothes and other shoes at a discount though.  Click here for your free invitation to Rue La La.  I’ll be checking in to see if they have these, just in case!

Yesterday’s Wednesday Whereabouts was the Aventura Spa Palace on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico (just south of Cozumel).  I need a tropical vacation.  Haha!  I think we all do at this point!
