Over last year’s Memorial Day Weekend, May 2012, my sister #5 (of the 6 girls) got married.  She chose the prettiest bridesmaids dresses for all us, by Lula Kate.  The color she selected went with everyone’s skin tone so well, and we were able to choose from a wide variety of styles.  Little did I know, that the bridesmaid dress designer, Lula Kate, would be contacting me just last month, to ask me to style some of her new dresses, for their new ready-to-wear line, just released this Fall.  She was so surprised to know that I had actually worn one of her dresses just last year.  Call it fate, that we were reconnected!  Since I was 4.5 months pregnant at my sister’s wedding last year, I went with a simple strapless dress, and it ended up working out so well.  I honestly could have worn any of the dress styles, loved them all!
That’s little W on the far right, as the flower girl.
All sisters are in the middle, and my sister’s two best friends are standing on the outside of us.
Lula Kate is based out of Charleston, SC, on King Street, to be exact.  I’m absolutely smitten with her new ready-to-wear line!  I’ve already been lucky enough to see what’s in store for Spring/Summer, and the styles and prints are fabulous!  Can’t wait to show you more, when they’re released!
Lula Kate sent me the two dresses seen here, to style, and of course I was flattered!  Love both styles so much.  Just like their bridesmaid dresses, they’re classy, and can be accented with so many fun accessories.
The Queen Dress has a classic shift style, and hangs so well.  I can see wearing it sleeveless now, and then adding a scarf and sweater, when the weather starts getting even colder.
Baublebar Emerald Amazon Pendant // Tory Burch Patti Wedges (old, similar HERE)
Bauble Gold Triad Ring // Michael Kors Watch (old, very similar HERE) // Tory Burch Double Wrap Bracelet
Love the colors she chose, on this Windermere Dress.
The mini-puff sleeves add a nice touch of femininity too.
I added a pop of fun color with Tory Burch Chelsea Flats in Equestrian Orange, but honestly they’d go with many colors and neutrals too.
Be sure and check out Lula Kate, for any Fall/Winter gatherings you may have this holiday season!
A big thanks to Lula Kate for letting me style these pretty pieces!  And if you’re ever in Charleston, I know they’d love for you to stop in and see them for yourself.
Happy Thursday, Y’all!
