Thirsty Thursday: Bird & Flower

I’m so glad everyone enjoyed my Seabreeze cocktail from a few weeks ago!  Now, you must try this one I had the other night.  Do yourself a favor and buy St. Germain (Elderflower Liquor).  It’s so smooth and delicious!

Cocktail Menu from Providence Cafe (now Napa on Providence)

If you’re in search of some new coasters, I’m loving these from Anthropologie

They have an array of colors.  It was honestly hard to choose which color scheme to go with, they’re all so fun!

Seriously, Baublebar has been making some lovely (inexpensive) pieces lately.  I want everything.  One thing I’ve found is that if I don’t snag it quick, it’s gone before I ever get the chance to think about if I want it or not.  Like this necklace, below, was featured yesterday, and sold out within a day!  My guess is that they may re-stock this baby.

The Sun-Ray Necklace
(This is actually two necklaces, the one featured with it (the Pink Twisted Teardrop Bib Necklace), is still available.

Here are a few of my current favorites…

Mint Tab Strand

Anchor Ring (only $24)
Tortoise Link Necklace
Gold Disco Knot Necklace
Rose Pave Link Bracelet

If it’s your first order on Baublebar, you receive $10 off, and there’s always free shipping!

Call me crazy, but I’ve already been hunting for some new swimsuits.  Since I’ve been preggo the last two summers, most of my suits are all stretched out.  I’ve been a true J.Crew swimsuit girl since the eight grade, but I always get them on sale.  Lately, while they’ve had lots of sales, my sizes aren’t available in the swimsuits, and I haven’t been a huge fan of their prints lately.  So I’ve decided to look elsewhere for fun suits, for a fraction of the cost.  Enter Victoria’s Secret.  I ordered two suits this past week, and LOVE them, both the print and style.  Here’s one of them…

Beach Sexy Swimsuit

I love them so much, I’m thinking about getting just one more…

Not sure if these are a little too risque for the swimming pool with the kids, but at least they’re not string bikinis, right?  The suit above is the color and top I like, but the bottom I like, has more coverage.  And let’s be honest, I can barely fill out a 34B, so I have no worries about anything popping out.

And these are great cover-ups, as well…

Happy Sipping, Ladies!

  1. Check out this month's Southern Living cocktail of the month. It's made with Elderflower too. I bought the St. Germain last week and have been thinking about what else to mix with it, so smooth and refreshing!
    Cheers!

  2. I like VS swimsuits too…I'm on the bustier side and J.Crew tops don't come in my size! they are so cute but always look way too risqué on me! I like all the mix and match options from Victoria Secret. That drink looks delish too!

  3. The VS banded bikini top has always been the most comfortable for me, especially through countless washings and the wear with salt & chlorine. I am sooooo ready for summer. Have a great weekend!

  4. I'm already looking forward to Summer 2014… when I can finally indulge in some refreshing drinks and sport a bikini without a belly!
