The Boheme Cocktail + Wednesday Whereabouts

A few weeks ago, we headed out to dinner with friends.  Before our dinner reservations, we met up at the rooftop restaurant, Elevé, at The Grand Bohemian Hotel.  If you’re local and you haven’t visited yet, you must.  Personally, any rooftop restaurant/bar/hotel this time of year has the most beautiful views of downtown Charleston and the best weather, before it gets too hot come summertime.  In case you missed this post, this is where we enjoyed a happy hour with Lilly Pulitzer and friends the other week.  Actually, both times I was able to enjoy this delicious cocktail.  Honestly, I think every time I visit, I’ll get the same thing.  I love it that much.  As always, I’m not sure of the exact portions of each of the ingredients, but if you’re looking to concoct the same drink at home like I am, just play around with it until you find the taste that suits you.
The Boheme
Tequila
Pineapple Shrub
Fresno Pepper Simple Syrup
Lime Juice
Lime Wedge Garnish
Combine all ingredients in shaker.
Pour in chilled glass with ice cubes.
Elevé serves this cocktail over smoked ice cubes.

Last Wednesday, the girls had early dismissal so we decided to meet up with friends at a new place.  It’s right before you get to Sullivan’s Island on the left.  Lots of room for the kids to run around and play.

I’ve always loved the look of Native Shoes on kids, but when my kids were younger, their little feet were too wide to wear them.  As they’ve grown, their feet have narrowed and they love wearing them now.

I found my Easter shoes!  Not many sizes left though, so if you’re interested, order these espadrilles soon.  I went with my regular size on these.  How cute is my new doormat?

I hope y’all had a happy St. Patrick’s Day!  Had to snap a drink with these festive green bottles!

BB Dakota Dress (wearing a small) // J.Crew Fringe Sandals // Ray-Ban Aviators // Charleston Rice Beads // Kate Spade Petal Studs // Ring

The girls waiting for all of our friends to arrive on Friday.  Their dresses are by Pink Chicken.  They also have a line at Target right now called Happy.

We had the best time with our friends that came in town this past weekend.  It’s always too short of a visit though!

Got a little too hungry before snapping a pic!

My friend’s daughter won’t let her mom braid her hair, but she always lets me.

Gingham Top (wearing a small, on sale) // Shorts (25% off with code: SHOPMORE) // Sandals (true to size) // Sunglasses (on sale in glitter transparent nude) // Anchor Studs (on sale)

These two have known each other since they were about 18 months, and are still the best buddies!

Sadly we don’t get to see our friends as often as we used to, since the move.  But when we do, we make the most of it and have the best time!  We were thankful that the weather turned out better than expected, and you better believe we enjoyed every second!
I’m just hoping they come back to visit soon!
Spring Pinks

So I wasn’t sure what this bloom was in our yard.  Doesn’t it look like confetti?

Thanks to an Instagram reader, I found out that it’s lorapetulum.

My lunch dates yesterday.  Logan wouldn’t take off his mask, except to eat lunch and for this quick pic!
What I Wore…

Top // Shorts (on sale!) // Sandals // Sunglasses // Ring // Wallet // Necklace // Bracelet

Wanted to let you know that these shorts and these sandals are currently on sale.  Use code: SHOPMORE for 25% off sandals.
Cheers to your Thursday!

  1. I am a long time reader but never comment, I love your blog! Quick question, my little guy is 10 mos and almost walking, would you recommend the blue keds your little guy has on for a baby? I love them but not sure if they will be tough for a new walker!

  2. Hi Ashley! What Ray ban aviators does your friend have on in the picture? I like them! Love your blog and seeing the fun days you share with your children.
