Spring Break: Part Three

On Tuesday of our Spring Break, we headed to Aquarium Encounters in Marathon, Florida.  It was about a 10 minute drive from where we stayed.  We don’t match often, but when we do I love it!  Shrimp and Grits always makes the comfiest clothes.  I love them as much as the children do.  Paired my dress with this necklace.

Logan said he really liked this pic because it made him look older.  I asked him why and he said because of his hairstyle.

Logan – always the entertainer.

If you’re looking to feed lots of animals, this is the place to go.  We got to feed lobsters, turtles and stingrays.  You can also feed the nurse sharks, but they weren’t available to be fed the day we went.

We did however get to feed the wild sharks, so that was pretty cool.  That pelican sat there waiting for the leftovers.

In case you’ve ever been shark tooth hunting or plan to go, this is a great source for figuring out which tooth came from which shark.  They had an area where the kids could dig around and find two to keep.  I had no idea that their teeth were all so different.

Feeding the turtles some veggies.

The Charleston Aquarium doesn’t have hammerhead sharks, so it was cool to see them up close here!

We loved it!  A fun stop for a few hours.

Afterward, we headed to the Keys Fisheries and it was delicious!

Logan loved his lobster mac and cheese.

It was a fun spot to watch the tarpon swim around too.

Two matching moments in one day!  After lunch, we headed back to the hotel to change.  I’m wearing this coverup (fits true to size – wearing a small).  The girls are wearing this matching one.  The boys are wearing these rashguard sets.

Lanier’s swim trunks are linked up here, as well as the boys rashguard sets.  Use code: SWEETSOUTHERNPREP20 to take 20% off your order on all of our suits and cover-ups.

Wheeler’s cute suit is by Shrimp & Grits.

I’m wearing this swim top and these sunnies.  My swim top comes in a ton of colors!

We love making friends on trips!

You know it’s a good day when it ends with a little night swimming.  I still have a few days and adventures with y’all from our trip.  As soon as I get them organized, I’ll get them posted.  The Turtle Hospital pics will be on the next post.

Head back here for Part One and Part Two of our trip.
