Randoms on a Friday + Fave Ornaments

We’ve had such a fun week getting in the holiday spirit!  On Wednesday night, we headed to church for some choir practice and decorated ornaments, made advent calendars out of pipe cleaners and made cards for those that are home bound and in the hospital.

Wore these cute festive earrings.

The kids were playing in the front yard earlier this week and I looked out and caught them all laying on their backs.  Since it was a clear blue sky, there were no cloud shapes to discuss.  They were actually looking at the leaves on the trees and deciding what they looked like.

Had some really good meals this week.  I honestly LOVE Poke Bros so much that I have to stop myself from wanting to eat there everyday.  It’s that good!  I’m a big fan of fresh, raw veggies, so this place is right up my alley.  I do the ‘Make Your Own’ and usually get a brown rice base, then add edamame, cucumbers, jalapaños, masago, carrots, corn and spicy tuna.  I add OG sauce, Sriracha aioli, wonton chips and crispy onions on top.

This has always been my favorite wedge in all of Charleston!  SOL Southwest Kitchen never disappoints.

The breaded grilled tuna lollipops are pretty amazing too!

We grew up with white lights and I kind of want them too.  But ultimately, the kids make the final decision on decorating the house for Christmas.  So colored lights it is!

Still loving this tennis bag!  It’s still on sale too.  It actually holds more than you think.  The zippered compartment in the back has a looser area for your water bottle, arm bands, keys, etc.

Can you believe that earlier this week it was THIS warm outside?  No complaints here!

If you’re looking for THE cutest gift idea, get these personalized aprons!  My girls are going to die!

The cutest gift tags for all of our Christmas gifts to friends!

Our jam-packed tree!

Just a few of my favorites…this flamingo.

The cutest jellyfish!  I gifted this to a few people already this season!

All local ornaments.  The angel is from a boutique here called Zinnia, the goldbug ornament is from Croghans and the little sweetgrass basket is from Boone Hall Plantation, made by Mary Bostick.

Couldn’t forget the princesses!  Elsa, Anna and Snow White.  And yes, that’s the Abominable Snowman back there too.  Vaughn used to be obsessed with him.  Haha.

Branch and Poppy

Dog Balloon Ornament by Hobnob Entertaining.  You can find lots more of her fun ornaments at Indigo Market Charleston.  Here’s a similar one.

My new pretty oyster print from Minted!  Not sure if I’ll leave her right here for good, but had to see her on the wall.  Love that Minted carries independent artist from all over the world.  And of course the one I choose turns out to be an artist from right here in Charleston.

Finally getting all of the Christmas decor up!  Found my nativity set available here.  The sweetgrass bells are from Boone Hall Plantation.  The stand I’ve had forever and use it in one of my bookshelves.  It’s an oldie but goodie from West Elm.  The ‘Days Until Christmas’ Chalkboard is from Southern Belles.

Candy Shop Vintage has the cutest holiday collection right now.  I’m absolutely LOVING this bow necklace, these little bow studs and this little crossbody!

And everything at Vineyard Vines is currently 25% off with code: GIFTS18!  Scroll below and check out my faves…

Also, this striped Shep Shirt sold out so quickly this summer.  If you missed it then, they restocked it in all sizes!  And it’s 25% off right now with code: GIFTS18.  For fit, it runs pretty true to size, but I always size up to a medium with these shirts for a longer, looser fit.

In case you missed this week’s posts, I shared what I’m ‘Loving Lately,’ along with my favorite Beauty Sets and Kits!

I hope y’all have a wonderful weekend!

TGIF, Y’all!
