Prepped for Colder Weather + What I Wore Last Week: Work-Out Faves

First off, it is FREEZING this morning!  It was the kind where I didn’t want to get out of bed and would’ve rather stayed snuggled in all day.  It rarely gets very cold here in Charleston, but wherever I headed this past weekend, at least I was able to wear this gorgeous coat.  This color sold out in a hot minute at Nordstrom, but I found it available in all colors here and also here.  If you’re looking for something with tons of warmth and a great shape, get this one.  I’m wearing a small, and there was still plenty of room to layer underneath.  I paired it with these jeans, these shoes, these sunnies and this lip in All Fired Up.

Well, we all survived the first week of January!  I hope yours started off on the right foot!  My main goal was to fit in an exercise everyday.  With the rain and freezing cold weather, it was a bit of a challenge since I couldn’t obviously run outside, but I did attend a barre class five out of the seven days, so that worked for me.  Since it’s so cold again, I’ll probably head back there again today.  And I just found out the kids don’t have school on Friday, Monday OR Tuesday.  Another long break this weekend.  Would you believe it’s supposed to be back up to a high of 74 on Friday?!  Talk about crazy weather.

Sharing a few of my favorite looks from this past week below…

On Saturday, it pretty much poured all day.  But there was a break in the rain, and I quickly snapped this pic of my outfit on my way to work out.  Wearing one of my go-to jackets, this hoodie under it and my pink rain boots.  Unfortunately, my pink rain boots are from a few years ago, but Hunter did just come out with this pretty pink color, also available here.  My leggings have sold out, but they’re this style. // Coffee Mug

I joked about not coordinating my Lulu prints, but it sounds like a trend.  So here you go.  I basically pulled out what I could find in my clean laundry basket last week before a work-out and this is what I got.  This top and these leggings.  But I had a reader say mixing Lulu prints is a style too, so…  Haha.  Carrying my favorite S’well bottle.  I seriously have so many of these, like one of my sisters gave me another one for Christmas, but I use them everywhere.  I keep one in my tennis bag, one in my pool bag, etc.  It really does its job though.  It keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours and drinks hot for up to 12.  I just ordered this brush to clean it better too.

I clearly love my Lulu.  And this print they just debuted last week was a no-brainer.  I ordered them in these leggings and these shorts.  This fun print is also available in this sports bra and these leggings.  Wearing these flip flops.

And it’s no secret I’m still obsessed with these leggings.  Wore them again today.  // Leopard Slippers

And even on days when I’m not working out, you’ll find me in work-out leggings, you know, just in case I get an urge. // Tee // Boots // Jacket

I hope y’all had a great weekend!  We mostly hibernated and didn’t get out too much, but the weather was perfect for that.  Did y’all catch the Golden Globes last night?  I’ve been dying to see La La Land ever since I saw the trailer about a month ago, but it was only playing in select theaters.  Well after last night and how they pretty much won every award possible, I’ve got to find some to see it!  If you haven’t seen Crazy Stupid Love yet, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone play in that one together too.  Love their chemistry on set!  And I mean, Ryan Gosling, that’s a no brainer…and he sings in this one too.

On another note, I opened my inbox to an Anthropologie email featuring this gorgeous top this morning.  Headed downtown today to try it on.  Obsessed with the sleeves!  I hope it looks as good in person as it does in photos.  I’ll keep you posted!

Hope y’all have a great start to your week!
