On Sunday, we attended Second Sunday. On the second Sunday of each month, they close off a major street downtown and people can stroll from store to store, restaurant to restaurant without cars around. This was the first time we braved downtown with all four, and they had the BEST time! We ate outside at a tasty bbq place called Jim ‘N Nick’s. Really really good. I’ll definitely be getting it again. While we were waiting for a table to open up, the kids and I were sitting on the curb like this and a sweet lady walked by, grabbed my phone and asked if she could snap a pic of us. So nice!
Now you can see why the girls enjoyed it so much! Anna and Elsa were seen strolling the streets, so we had to talk to them!
Charlie the River Dog, the city’s minor league baseball team’s mascot, was happy to hug on the girls.
Logan and Vaughn were a little apprehensive. This was as close as they got to him.

A trip to the Battery is always so much fun. On Sunday, we enjoyed watching a man kite surf in the water, until he couldn’t get back up! He was so exerted they had to get another boat to pull him onto their boat.
Yesterday, I took all four of the kiddos to the dentist. It was so nice to knock them all out at the same time! And the best part? No crying and no cavities!!

Last night, I headed out for dinner and went to Americano. So so good! Like so good I’m still thinking about it and feel like I should’ve grabbed a to-go basket for the leftover chips we left on the table. The cocktails are really tasty too. This is the Americano Mule and the Hibiscus Cocktail is really good. The selection of tacos is unbeatable and I’ve heard the burger is really good too.
