Mother’s Day Gift Guide: Sleepwear

Happy Tuesday!  As Mother’s Day is less than a month away, I’ll be sharing helpful gift guide posts to give you some ideas on what to ask for yourself, or what to give your own mother.  Also, if you have a gift guide suggestion, I’m all ears.  Other gift guides to come later include beauty, gifts for the home, etc.  I for one can say that I would love to receive one of everything I’m sharing in today’s post.  I know I won’t be gifting it to my mom, as my dad has always given my mom some kind of sleepwear for Mother’s Day.  Any husbands/sons out there?  It really is a great gift!  Now I wouldn’t make it your only gift that day, but it’s a great addition.  Considering I’m in pjs just as much as I’m in regular clothes, I like mine to be something I’m excited to change into and they must be super comfy.
If you have to gift your mother one thing, get her these Ugg Slippers.  I seriously wear mine almost every single day.  They’re the first thing I slide into when I get out of bed in the morning, and the last thing I take off when I get in the bed each night.  For fit, I’m an 8.5 and wear a 9 in these.  Unfortunately, the chestnut color above has almost sold out, but there are four more colors to choose from.  I really like the sand color also.  If slippers are something you’re thinking as a gift, I tend to like the ones without a back better.  They’re much easier to wear.  Mine stretched out a little, and I know the ones with backs tend to start slipping off and just aren’t as comfortable after awhile.
My favorite pjs are by Bedhead.  I love how they feel and they get softer the more your wash them.  Some of mine I’ve had for a few years now and they’re still my absolute favorites.  There’s just something about a pretty sleep set that I love.  I tend to like long sleeves and pant sets…even in the summer too.  They’re comfier to me than shorts.  I actually own the map ones above, and they’re currently on sale.  They fit true to size, but if you’re deciding between two sizes I’d go up a size.  PJs are just more comfortable to me when they fit on the loose side.
This light blue zebra pair is also currently on sale, as well.
PJ Salvage is another sleepwear designer that has a lower price point than Bedhead PJs and they’ve got some cute prints, as well.  Some of them have specific prints just in time for Mother’s Day.

These have little bees all over them that say ‘Queen Bee’.
And this pair has Scrabble board tiles on them that read ‘Mom Knows Best’ and other sweet mom phrases.
If I’m not wearing a matching pj set, I usually toss on a t-shirt with pj pants and a cardigan, light robe or sweatshirt.  Love this one above.  Looks so pretty and comfy.  I have no doubt any mother would appreciate this one.  And this sweatshirt had me at the color and the cute pineapple on it!
To make a gift even more thoughtful, choose something like this pretty satin floral robe.  It can be personalized with whatever letter you choose.
If you think sleepwear may be a great gift for the woman in your life, don’t forget there are pretty nightgowns and comfy robes that you should consider too.  I’m sharing more of my favorites below.  Love of all of the beautiful floral prints and pastels for spring.

These sateen ones are by far my favorite!  Love the fun colorful print!
