You heard it here first! It’s official, Lilly’s After Party Sale will begin on January 5th at 8am and run until the 6th at 1pm! This is a new start day, as all other Lilly sales have started on a Monday.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
In case you missed yesterday’s post, be sure and check it out here if you’re planning on shopping the sale. I shared everything you need to know to prepare yourself for the sale, to ensure you score everything on your wish list. And even if you don’t have a wish list, you’ll still will want to check it out. The most frustrating thing is putting items in your cart, and then having them go away before you can check-out. My strategies, like creating an account now, so you don’t have to deal with that at check-out, will help you navigate the sale smoother on Thursday.
Some of you asked for more information about the virtual line. Two summer sales ago was the first time the virtual line was used, and it worked like a charm. It may freak you out when you see what number you are in line, but trust me, it goes by quickly! And if you’ve ever participated in Lilly’s online sale before, you’ll know that these past few sales have worked way more smoothly than in years past.
Even if you’re not a huge fan of bright colors and prints, I always recommend the Elsa Silk Top to anyone. It’s usually marked down during the sale, and comes in a variety of solid colors. The black and navy are easy to toss-on for a night out. Just toss on a few pieces of jewelry and you’re good to go. For fit, it’s true to size, I wear a small.
I wore one of mine yesterday out on the boat. Paired it with this cardigan, these sunnies, this necklace and these earrings.
Some of you asked about whether these earrings are heavy, and the answer is not at all. I actually mentioned it the first time I ever got a pair on this post here, only because I’m usually so against anything dangly. I can’t stand anything heavy on my ear and prefer studs. But these I love. They’re super lightweight, you’ll barely know you’re wearing them.
The weather was surprisingly warm, in the low-70s, and Lanier and the boys had work and school off, so we decided to make the most of the day and take the boat out. When the girls finished school, they joined us too. So blessed to live here!
After posting about my curler being on backorder on yesterday’s post, I checked again and it’s been restocked! It’s the Beachwaver and super easy to use! It’s probably one of my favorite purchases of 2016!
When I was home, I curled my sister’s hair and showed her how to use it. How great does her hair look!

I just don’t know whether to go with small or medium. Have you tried them? I don’t even have a store in my town that sells Lilly for me to try them on! 🙁
