Life Lately: Part One

Staying busy over here!  Last week, the kids got long overdue haircuts.  Wheeler has been wanting hers short again and she still loves it.  Lots of y’all asked about the girls’ jackets.  Got them during the Lilly Sale this year.

Our den is finally coming together.  Still need a rug, art and a coffee table.  I had a coffee table for awhile, but ended up selling it to my sister because I wanted something different.  Wheeler sewed the pillow on the left.

This cardigan is another score from the Lilly Sale.  My orders finally came in.  I’ve loved wearing it to carpool in the mornings.  It’s super cozy!  I found it still available in navy here.

Enjoyed a fun lunch date with my girls.

Tavern & Table has had this Daisy Fresno cocktail for the longest time and I still get it every time I visit.  Love how spicy it is!

Deep Fried Deviled Eggs

My favorite volunteer job yet – behind the register at the book fair!

Wheeler taught herself how to play a song on the ukulele they’ve been listening to a lot called Me & You by George Ezra.

She then performed it for her class with Effie and Vaughn.

I’m wearing this style jacket, but this camo print is a few years old.  They do bring it back sometimes.

The girls had their first sock hop this past Friday.

This was Effie’s first one and she insisted on wearing a poodle skirt and rocked it out!  Love her originality!

While the girls were at the sock hop, Lanier and I took the boys to Taco Boy for a little date night.  Can you spot them on the couch?

Logan loves their mexican corn and Vaughn’s favorite are the cowboy beans.  Lanier’s fave is always their Tres Leches cake!

Loved getting to spend some time with just my boys.  And as always, the girls had a blast at their first sock hop of the season!

Sharing more ‘Life Lately’ with y’all tomorrow.  Hope y’all have a great start to your week!  I’m off to chaperone Wheeler on a field trip today.  Can’t wait!
