Life Lately + Local Food Faves

Y’all, this is the dress I shared in my ‘Loving Lately’ collage earlier this week.  It’s just as gorgeous in person!

Boozer wasn’t feeling the extra attention.  Haha.

It has pockets and the back ties, so you can cinch it in.

Perfect for warmer days, but would be really cute with a jean jacket now.

For fit, this dress runs big.  I’m wearing a small, but could’ve maybe even done an XS.  Also, I’m 5’6″ and even barefoot, it doesn’t touch the ground.

In the past few weeks, the weather has been just beautiful, so we’ve been taking in some delicious food spots outside.  This is one of my favorite salads at SOL.

This yummy & LOBSTER food truck was in our neighborhood a few evenings ago.  We loved it!

Earlier this week, the kids had wacky tourist day.  Effie fit the part perfectly!

I shared the pink version of this skirt with y’all earlier this week.  Mine hasn’t arrived yet, but I do have the same style in this orange color and wanted to show y’all how it fit.  Paired here with this tank.  Size up in both.  They run small.

Leon’s Oyster Shop was another no-brainer earlier this week!  I usually don’t eat out this often, but there were special occasions throughout the week and what’s better than celebrating with good food, right?  Their charbroiled oysters are always a fave.

…as is this delicious Siam Salad.  I swear I want all of these entrees right now!

Jacket // Shorts // Running Shoes

Ran my 350th day in a row yesterday!  My running shoes are on major sale right now.  For fit, I’m an 8.5 and wear an 8 in them.

I also went to The Obstinate Daughter this week.  As most of you know, this is my favorite restaurant in Charleston.

I tried the Strawberry Fields cocktail and y’all, it’s so good!  But be careful, they’re so good, they go down a little too quickly.

I always have a hard time deciding between the farro salad or the beets salad.  I went with the beets this day.

And of course, the gnocchi is a MUST!

Lanier and I still needed to get our Valentine’s date night in, so we went last night.  We’ve heard the best things about Bistronomy, so we were eager to try it out!

The tequila salad cocktail had the perfect amount of spice!

This isn’t your usual baguette.  The pesto infused butter was amazing.

Goat Cheese Spring Rolls

Escargot Dumplings

Octopus

Bouillabaisse

Truffle Chicken

Creme Brulee

Mascara // Blush is Apricot // Lipgloss is Nectar

Owners Dominique and Nico did a fabulous job in changing what used to be Josephine to Bistronomy.  And in record time no-less!

We’ll definitely be back again soon!  There was still so much on the menu that I want to try…like the crab curry soup, the pork belly, the duck confit…yum!

Wore this dress and these heels (I’m an 8.5 and wear a 39 in these).

Captured this pic last night.  We’ve been here six years now and I still say it all the time…so lucky to live here!

I hope y’all have a great weekend!  We’re heading home and I’m just so excited to hug my parents!  They’re both fully vaccinated.  Can’t wait to see them!
