Life Lately + Beachy Coffee Table Books

We definitely closed out our last summer days with a bang!  Took this pic last weekend.

This photo with Effie gives you a better idea as to how big these shells were.  And yes, definitely framing this one of Effie.

Love this crew so much!!

We tried out The Crazy Mason!  How insane are the sizes??  Wheeler’s had an entire doughnut on the top of hers, Logan had an ice cream sandwich and Vaughn had a big ball of cookie dough.  The best part is you get to keep the glass!

After getting stuck in a thunderstorm walking to Mex-1 for lunch last week, we still survived and had the best time!  If you take your kids, get the shark attack drink.  It’s my kids’ favorite!

Six years ago…

…and TODAY.

Can’t get through the summer without at least one trip to Whirlin’ Waters.

…and Dippin’ Dots.

Boys got their back to school haircuts.  I always go super short just to keep myself from having to take them as often.

Haven’t had a girls night out in awhile and it was long overdue!  Wearing a small in this dress that’s currently on major sale.  Love the colors. // Crossbody

Even if it monsooned while we popped into different places, we still had the best time.

The Watch for appetizers and a cocktail.

Not the best lighting at 167 Raw, but this was so delicious I had to share.  We split the swordfish sandwich and tuna burger.

And finished our night with espresso martinis.  The perfect nightcap.

We didn’t get out to The Windjammer as often as we usually like to in the summer, but one of Lanier’s favorite bands, Drive-By Truckers, played two nights, so we made it out there and had a great time.

This past Saturday was the perfect boat day!  Low 80s with low humidity.  It was amazing!

Like cool enough to wear a sweatshirt and the water was a little chilly too.  Wearing this new one.  Loving the neon green.

We didn’t get off the water until almost 8.  Our way back they asked if they could anchor and swim for a little while.  They always have the best time jumping off the boat.

On Sunday, Effie and I headed down to King Street for Second Sunday.  The second Sunday of every month, they close off King Street and let everyone shop – with most stores keeping their doors open.

Loving this look at Beau & Ro.  Obsessed with this little crossbody!

We had to make a stop at LoveShackFancy.  They were having a fun pop-up with SupportHerStory and Corazon Playero who makes these incredible hats!

Effie was in heaven here seeing all the pink things!

How beautiful are these hats!  Scroll below to shop more that are available…

I just love how each one is so unique.

I ended up choosing this one called The Stella with little stars on it.  I had to leave it at the store to get monogrammed, but I’ll share it with y’all as soon as I get it back.  Can’t wait to wear it soon!  My dress is available here.  Effie’s is from J.Crew from earlier this year, but this one is super cute and very similar.

Oh and my earrings are on sale with an additional 30% with code: ASHLEY30 making them only $15!  You can use my code on the entire site for 30% off.

I shared with y’all on this post how I’ve been sprucing things up around the house.  Loving this little stack on one of my bookshelves in our den.

Such a fun week!  Gone are the long summer days, but at least we’ll have the weekends!  The kids went back to school yesterday.  The house is too quiet…
