How sweet is this little ornament of the girls? I ordered these last Spring while the girls were in dance, and had planned on giving them to family for Christmas. I FINALLY went and picked them up yesterday. I can’t believe how well they turned out! Last spring, while I was uploading some photos from my phone, I lost over 800+ photos. I still don’t know exactly what happened, but I was obviously extremely saddened by it. Many of the photos were from the girls’ dance recital, Effie’s last soccer game and pics of them with their grandparents. These dance photos and ornaments made me so happy when I saw them yesterday. At least if I lost so many photos, the ones that were captured were some of the best! And now my parents and inlaws get extra Christmas gifts, a little belated.
Last Thursday, my girlfriends and I tried Dogwood Southern Table, a new restaurant here that just opened in November. We were so impressed! Get the oysters – amazing!

For my birthday this past December, some of my sisters went in together and got me a gift card for a store here in town. I’ve been needing a new hair dryer for awhile, and took the opportunity (thanks to their gift card) to get a nice one. I haven’t used it yet, but if this GHD Air works as well as the model’s hair on the picture at the store, I’ll be one lucky girl!
I usually watch The Bachelor snuggled up on the couch, with a glass of wine. This past Monday night, Lanier had some friends coming over, so some of my friends and I went over to my friend’s house to watch it instead. Seriously went over to her house in my pajamas and slippers. One of them made these delicious chocolate-covered strawberries! Needless to say, it was a fun night. And as always, I wish we could do it more often.

I’m still loving mine, and love that it motivates me so much to get active. I’m a stats girl, so I love checking my Dashboard to see all the latest details. It’s fun to see my sleep patterns too…especially compared to Lanier’s. I knew he’d always been a restless sleeper, but it’s amazing that his restlessness doesn’t effect my sleep. I’m restless maybe two times, and his shows up on average around 20 times. I know it’s not a diamond bracelet, but if you’re looking for a Valentine’s gift, I’d consider asking for a Fitbit Charge HR. Trust me, it’s worth it.

My dryer went out and I'm trying to decide on a new one, you'll have to let me know how you like the GHD dryer! I'm using a Chi right now but it seems like it barely has any power compared to my old one and you know how much hair we have!!

Hi Ashley I wanted to ask a question since you mentioned your hairdryer and your Fitbit in this post together. I'm a runner too and I wanted to know how often do you wash and style your hair. I get really sweaty after a workout/run and was curious what your routine is like?
I wash it 2-3 times a week. I shower cap it on the other days. 😉
