Fashion Friday: My Faves from J.Crew’s Newest Arrivals, All on Sale! + Other Spring Faves

It’s Friday!  So excited that the weekend is here!  So can I be honest?  I’m definitely a summer fan over winter any day of the week, unless it’s snowing heavily and I’m skiing somewhere.  Since that rarely happens, I’m obviously ready for spring and summer weather to stay.  And what gets me excited the most is all the new arrivals from some of my favorite places, like J.Crew.  J.Crew has always been my happy place, but I must admit, I wasn’t digging much of J.Crew’s winter collection.  If you’ve been following for awhile, you’ll know their Swing Sweater (my long time favorite) they carried in 2013 and 2014 wasn’t carried again this year.  They had a few other sweaters that I tried, but nothing quite compared.
But have y’all had a chance to see J.Crew’s latest arrivals yet?
They’re also offering 25% off on their favorites.  Click here to see them all.

Loving all of these new items so much!
Such a beautiful fit and print on this tank top.  Would be great paired with jeans and nude heels and later with shorts and cute sandals.
Love how lightweight this drapey Camp Shirt is.  The pretty metallic gold makes it versatile enough that you can wear it during the day with cute cutoffs or into the night with dark jeans and a fun colored heel or wedge.
Spring is always the perfect time to wear a pretty gingham top.  The Casablanca Blue color on this one is so crisp and clean.  Pair it with your favorite white shorts and you’re good to go!
I’m also loving the pink version in this gingham top as well.
The striping detail on this Popover Tunic is so pretty.  Throw on any of your favorite longer necklace to finish off this look.
You can’t go wrong with a simple black/white striped top.  It goes with every color short you own.  Just a heads up, this one runs a little big but is super soft.
Ever since J.Crew came out with their Vintage Cotton line, I’ve always been a fan.  Super soft and light, but not see-through.  I have so many colors and styles in my closet, and right now they’re on sale.  For fit, they run true to size.  Such easy, comfy tops to throw on.
So many fun colors are offered this year, in their Chino Shorts.  I honestly do wear these almost everyday in the summer months.  Also available in 4″ and 5″ inseams.  Talking J.Crew Shorts, I did buy one of their Crepe Pull-On, they’re cool but not for everyone.  I’ve always rolled down the waistband on any of my elastic pants, like my Nike Tempos and pajama pants, but if you’re not used to doing that, the waist may be a little too high for you.
I have this Bikini Top and Bottom from last year in the Papaya color.  Can’t wait to wear it again.  Last year the Neon Pink sold out rather quickly and I missed out on it, so I’m hoping to order it soon, while it’s on sale.
Love seeing all of these happy, cheery colors!

Just love this whole look!
Love the quirkiness of this little birdie tee.
Wore this cover-up a lot last summer, and they’ve brought it back!
Another pretty top for spring is this Fluttered Blouse from Anthropologie.
Shopbop just marked down lots of new items.  Love this little Tory Burch Leopard Haircalf Satchel.
Over $200 off!
Necklace // Top (old J.Crew, but I love this similar one here) // Shorts
Yosi Samra recently debuted this color combo in their Cambelle Sandal.  These colors are a lot like the YS pair I wore a lot last summer.  If you’re between sizes, definitely size down.  I’m an 8.5 and wear an 8 in these.
Also available in this pretty Biscotti color too.
Okay, now who’s ready for the warmth of that sun??
I hope y’all have a great weekend!
TGIF, Y’all!

  1. Hi Ashley,
I absolutely LOVE your blog just the way it is. I love seeing what it's you recommend and I love your sale links, especially your Lilly ones! Your blog isn't required reading for anyone so if people don't love your blog, they simply don't have to read it. Honestly if your blog is a problem for someone they have bigger issues. Don't change a thing.
