Cranberry Spiced Margarita + A Holiday Dress that Matches

If you’re looking to enjoy a holiday-infused cocktail this season, this is it.Β  Incredibly tasty!Β  Serve this at your next soiree and they’ll be coming back for more.

Cranberry Spiced Margarita

Created for SOL restaurant, located in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Milagro Silver Tequila

House-Made Cranberry Simple Syrup

Holiday Spice

Lime Sugar Rim

As always, I wish I had exact measurements, but I’m definitely going to try and recreate this one at home.Β  I’ll report back after I’ve tried it and let youΒ  know how I created my at-home version.

In keeping with the colorful cocktail theme, this dress would coordinate so well with it!Β  Of course, if you live in a cooler climate, add black tights and a black coat and you’re good to go.Β  Paired it with these sunnies and this ring.

After moving in, we knew we wanted to treat our porch floors after the house had been pressure-washed.Β  We thought we were just going to be able to give them a clear stain and seal.Β  But they told us they’d been painted before, so we’d need to have them painted rather than stained.Β  The color choices were endless…and the hardest part is that I kind of loved them all.

We finally decided on Sherwin Williams Driftwood for our bottom porches and are thrilled at how good they looked!

Before pressure washing and new paint…

…and after.

It turned out almost a really light gray.

On the porches upstairs, they hadn’t been painted before so we simply stained and sealed them.

My off-the-shoulder sweatshirt that I haveΒ  in three colors is now on sale!Β  Paired it here with these leopard flats.

If you’re looking for a cozy pullover, this top was just marked down and is currently under $50!

When I finally start revealing completed rooms, you’ll noticed that a lot of my art is from Minted.Β  Just love so many of their pieces.Β  This one, titled ‘Malibu Surf’,Β  is in our powder room downstairs.Β  Love that it has an anti-glare glass, so the glass doesn’t reflect the light to where you can’t see the pic with the light turned on.Β  I’ll reveal this room as soon as the new mirror arrives (waiting on the third one – the first two arrived broken) and the floor tile is finished.Β  Sharing more about our floor tile on tomorrow’s post.

We chose this moving announcement one for our card this year.

All the feelings on the back.Β  Haha.

Have you ordered your Christmas cards yet?Β  I ordered mine well before we moved, only because I knew that once we started moving my Christmas cards were going to be put on the back burner and they’d either end up lost or not even completed.Β  For the past five years, Minted has been my favorite place to order.Β  Just so happy with how well they turn out and their shipping and processing is so much better than most I’ve dealt with in the past.Β  Plus, right now you can take 20% off your holiday cards with code: JOYNEW.

Minted also has a fun new way to repurpose your holiday card photos – with these cool Hanging Bar Calendars.Β  They’d also make a great gift too.Β  Two lucky SSP readers will each win one of their own!Β  Simply comment and let me know where you’re shipping your Christmas cards from this year.Β  I’m always curious to see who all is reading and from where!

We’re heading to south Georgia to visit family this weekend.Β  But first, some girlfriends and I are making a pitstop along the way in Atlanta and are getting on the road today.Β  It’s crazy that they’re actually calling for snow in Atlanta tomorrow.Β  We’ll see how that turns out.Β  But one thing’s for sure, I’m definitely packing lots of layers!

Happy Thursday, Y’all!
