Charleston Wine & Food Festival: Day 2

You have no idea how excited I was to get to attend this rosé event!  Whispering Angel is one of my favorite rosés, so getting to try other wines from Chateau D’Esclans I knew they wouldn’t disappoint!

Natalie is part of the street team too, so we got to attend all of our events together this year.  Such a fun time!

Paul Chevalier was super knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the tasting.  Our fifth tasting of a 2015 garrus rosé was actually from his personal cellar.  If you’re a big rosé fan and ever to get a chance to try a garrus rosé, you must!  Extremely smooth and dreamy.

After our tasting, we headed up to The Watch at the Restoration Hotel for something to eat.

They knocked the charcuterie board out of the park!

Such a great team that works there!  All helpful and friendly!

After enjoying a bite, we headed out to the next event, Winederlust.  This event was held at Lowndes Grove.  Many weddings and events are hosted here and I can see why.  It’s absolutely breathtaking!

How beautiful was this sunset from Thursday night?

After the sun set on Lowndes Grove, we headed over to The Cedar Room at The Cigar Factory.

Lowcountry Gullah Storyteller Anita Singleton-Prather was my favorite of the night!

These ladies on both sides of us are the heart and soul of this festival!  Alyssa Maute-Smith is the Marketing + Communications of Charleston Wine + Food and Gillian Zettler is the Executive Director of Charleston Wine + Food.  Kudos to both of these ladies for making this festival the best one yet!

What I Wore

I wore this empire waist dress for Day 2 of the festival.  It was a little too chilly to wear it alone, but isn’t it so pretty?  The material is a crepe and doesn’t wrinkle too easily.  Paired it with these heels and this jacket.

Happy Tuesday, Y’all!
