Today’s cocktail was sent to me by SSP reader Shirl’ Anderson. I assumed she was from Charleston based on the cocktail name, but she’s actually from Virginia. She’s just sweet enough to know that I recently moved to Charleston, and thought this cocktail would be perfect to share. And it sounds so good! Anything with grenadine is always a winner in my book! Thanks, Shirl’!

Charleston Pink Lady

4 1/2oz Gin

2 1/4 Heavy Cream

1 1/2 Applejack

1tsp Grenadine

Handful of Ice

Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker.

Shake vigorously.

Strain into a cocktail glass.

My closet is filled with stripes. I love it as a fun neutral over solids any day of the week. This particular one looks so pretty paired with this necklace. All the reviews talk about how soft this top is. Need to try it on sometime.

9 // MAC Lipstick in Candy Yum-Yum

I’ve been wearing this lip color for the last week and I keep grabbing it again and again. It’s the prettiest pop of pink.

This is the sweetest little romper and dress ever. And the flamingo print is pretty fabulous too! Mini Boden is such a great line, but every summer they know how to do it right. Or maybe I just love summer clothes. I want one of each for the kids! Logan has these swim trunks and the girls have this cover-up. All great, quality pieces that will last.
