Wednesday Whereabouts + My Barbour Beadnell Jacket on Sale, Over $100 Off! + Anthropologie Dress on Sale

My prayers as always are that they stay this sweet!  Holding hands because they want to.
When I went to pick up doughnuts for Effie’s class last week, the lady at the register commented how sweet it was that my son and I were wearing matching coats.  Haha.  Little did she know we’re a family of Patagonia Down Sweater Jackets.

Sweet little Vaughn and his best friend.

Still obsessed with this Matte Lip Color in Fuchsia Flash.  I love that you can dot it on for a subtle pop of color or add layers for more pop.  I also have it in Electric Pink for even more pink pop. // This painted sweatshirt is J.Crew.  It’s a little on the short side but I’ve enjoyed pairing it with my longer t-shirts.  Super comfy and the sleeves are still long.

My dad brought this over the other night on his way to a work meeting.  Was definitely a nice surprise.  If you’ve never had Banshee Mordecai, you need to try it.  So good!
Vaughn has gotten into this thing where he always wants someone to hold his hand.  Not sure how long it will last, but his siblings and I love it!  And now that he wants to walk more and not ride in his stroller as often, it makes me less worried when someone is holding his hand too.
I’m wearing the lip color I shared above.  Isn’t it great?

Visiting the pups.
A close-up view of my new J.Crew Cover-Up.  For fit details, see this post.
On Saturday, Lanier and I went out to see a movie, and I got to wear my new Baublebar Antique Tassel Bib Necklace.  It’s actually all one piece which is pretty cool.
So we try not to wear our Barbour Jackets at the same time, but they’re the most comfortable and warmest jackets.  It’s hard to resist choosing it when we’re headed out the door.  Also, wearing this Anthropologie Dress (true to size and now on SALE for almost half off!) with J.Crew Signature Leggings.
Wheeler and Effie modeled in a photo shoot on Sunday afternoon for a kids’ bead line called Mini Melvin (online shop coming soon).  They’d never done anything like this before and we just thought it’d be fun.  Well, they were seriously naturals and loved every minute of it!  I had no idea!  I only wish my photography skills were good enough to capture the photos Angela (the professional) did…oh, and the hair styling skills too.  Heather could work wonders and could create these fantastic braids and top knots in ten seconds flat!  The outfits are Stella McCartney.

Logan found this helmet in the dress-ups yesterday and wore it all day.  He wanted to wear it to bed last night, but thankfully I talked him out of it. // Logan’s Shirt (on sale) // Camo Sweatpants (on sale)

Two new finds for the girls!  Peek Sweatshirt // Crewcuts Tulle Skirt

This Pink Milly Top that I blogged about here was just marked down…

…so was this Ted Baker Clutch.
So perfect for a date night!

I saved the best for last!  If you’ve been wanting a Barbour Jacket like mine, it’s currently on sale!  Over $100 off!  For a fit guide and more photos of how I styled it, click here.  Trust me, you will LOVE this classic jacket.  It’ll last you years and years.  Not sure how long it will be marked down, but if you’re thinking about, decide soon to take advantage of such a great deal!

Happy Wednesday!

  1. Quick question about the jacket fit. Does yours fit snug in shoulders with lots of layers? The body of mine fits like yours, but with thick layers feels snug in shoulders when reaching to pick something up. Just wondering if that's the Barbour fit or not and I should size up. Thank you!
