An Easy Fall Look: For the Men

Vaughn’s first day of school was yesterday.  He did a fabulous job and had the BEST time!  They have staggered entry so he’s with us again today, but will start full time on Monday.  I just can’t believe my baby is old enough for “real” school already.  Time does fly!

Today, I’m sharing an easy fall look with you.  I’ve had a reader request asking if I’d share an outfit for the men because it sounds like many of you have significant others that don’t shop for themselves, and you need help deciding what to order for them.

If you’re looking for a basic pair of loafers, these shoes are great and comfortable and go with everything.  You can dress them up or down too.  As for the jeans, Lanier loves AG.  He says they’ve always fit him the best and they don’t stretch out that much.

His shirt is from Nordstrom Men’s Shop.  It’s a great fit and the best part?  It’s non-iron so you never have to take it to the dry cleaner.  He always just tosses his in the dryer to release the wrinkles right before he wears it.  This particular one is available in lots of colors.  He wears so much blue that I’m trying to get him to branch out.  There’s a lavender one that I like too and may order it for him soon.

If you’ve never worn a pair of Maui Jims, you’re missing out.  I didn’t get my first pair until this past year and the lens are seriously my favorite.  Everything is just so much clearer and more vivid and worth the price!  Lanier just got these for his birthday and I love the classic shape and color.

If you’re looking for a great gift, Lanier loves his Fitbit Blaze and wears it all the time.  He also wanted me to mention that he loves these headphones too.  They were a recent birthday gift and he uses them often.  His belt is old, but this one is very similar.

It’s no secret how much I love to order from Nordstrom.  Returning items is free and super easy.  So for Lanier (who hates to shop by the way), at least I can order a few pieces in a  few sizes and just return whatever doesn’t fit and he’s good to go.  And I feel like all of these pieces featured are great classic pieces that he’ll wear all season long.

On Lanier: Shirt // Jeans // Sunnies // Watch // Shoes // Belt

On Vaughn: Tee // Shorts (similar here) // Shoes

I hope y’all have a great weekend!  This is the first weekend in awhile that we have absolutely no plans and I kind of love it.  Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from guests and company visiting and just chilling for a few days.  We’ll be taking full advantage!

TGIF, Y’all!

Thanks to Nordstrom for their partnership on this post.

  1. Hi Ashley! The link for Lanier’s shirt is going to the sunglasses. I would love to know where I could find my hubby some non-iron shirts! Thanks for your help!

  2. Those jeans!! My hubby doesn’t fit well into most jeans, but I really think these AG ones would be perfect for him. Thanks for sharing!
