Thank y’all so much for all of your kind words, thoughts and prayers for my family. I honestly cannot thank you enough for how meaningful each and every response was to me and my family. The service on Saturday was absolutely beautiful. So many people spoke on his life and how unfortunate it was that he was taken so soon. He touched so many lives, more than I ever imagined. Friends came from all over just to share their memories of him with us. He will be greatly missed by so very many.
While it was a sad day, the children only know so much and just kept saying how it was the best day ever because so much of their family was there, and that they got to see them all at one time. I too was thankful that they were all there. More family to lean on and be comforted in a time like this.

This little girl’s face during the game was my favorite! Our quarterback Cam Newton always gives the touchdown ball to one lucky child in the stands. I think it’s safe to say this little girl was beyond excited when she got it. You could read her lips as she goes “Oh my gah! I got the ball!”
Next Sunday, we face the Cardinals at 6:40p. Can’t wait!
Y’all may remember this post I did a few weeks ago on work-out gear. I hadn’t tried the Beats Bluetooth Headphones (currently on sale), but included them in a collage. I finally had the chance to try them yesterday, and I absolutely LOVE them. So much better than my regular headband style ones with the cord that would always dangle when I ran. I always found a way to tuck the cord into my shirt, but with these new headphones, I don’t have to do that. These are super easy to use, and they come with four different ear buds for you to try, depending on your ear shape. Yesterday, I used the regular ones that came already on the ear buds. Oh, and I had one of you, sorry I’m behind on responding to my latest emails and comments, but I know one reader asked if I’d wear my Fitbit and Apple Watch at the same time one day and compare the amount of steps. That’s a great idea! I’ve misplaced my charger for my Fitbit, but as soon as I find it, I’ll definitely try that idea one day soon.
I posted a similar pic last week, here, with a pineapple necklace. These are the pineapple studs, and they’re just as cute as the necklace, and only $38. Would make great gifts too!
