Earlier this week, our church had a Drive-By Fall Festival with lots of activities that we did from our car to get prizes. The kids loved it and were excited they got to wear their costumes, even if it was inside the car. I took the opportunity to scoot over to this spot after to capture a few pics of them in their costumes. Had no idea I’d get these amazing shots! This is without any filter. They seriously look superimposed here. They were just as excited about these photos in their costumes as I was!
I know it’s a little late to be ordering costumes for Halloween, but I did have some of you ask where I got their costumes. Wheeler is dressed as Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. Her current favorite series. She quickly moved her Harry Potter obsession to this series. Wheeler’s bow and arrow is very real. We decided to get the real thing instead of a costume prop so she could actually use it. She loves shooting targets in our backyard! And those are my Rag & Bone booties she’s wearing. We’re almost the same size and she’s just dying to get into my closet. She asked if she could keep these…
Effie is Anna from Frozen. She hadn’t intended on wearing this and actually has another costume for Hallloween, but we just couldn’t resist this one when we were at The Disney Store in Charlotte last weekend. It fit her to a tee and all costumes in the store were 40% off. Love that she got to wear it this week!
Can’t remember where Vaughn got his gun, he pulled it out of the dress ups. But he’s a Purge Trooper, whatever that is. They know more about Star Wars than I ever knew.
Now onto some new Lulu…
You may remember I wore this top last weekend that I previously posted. I’ve already worn it two more times this week. It’s that good. And this crossbody is so cool! It pops in on the side with a magnet, so it’s easier to take on and off. A great size and a perfect Fall color! Fits my iPhone 11 Pro Max perfectly! And how pretty is the print on this sports bra for Fall? It also comes in leggings. I love the fit of this sports bra so much. The coverage is great and it’s so secure. For fit on both the top and sports bra, go up a size. They both run small.
We can’t wait for Halloween! So excited it’s on a Saturday this year! We’re planning on carving our pumpkins tomorrow afternoon and are already scheming about what we’ll carve. Our neighborhood is changing things up as far as traditional trick-or-treating. We’re having a scavenger hunt that can start any time after 4pm, as well as a food truck. And then houses are putting candy in baskets at the end of their driveaways and children can choose to trick-or-treat that way if they want. Should be a fun time!
